Isn't she beautiful? She was born Friday afternoon to my son and his wife. She was born 2 months early, but is breathing on her own and doing great. She weighed in at just under 4 pounds.
These pictures are from her second day. She has such nice color. She isn't really all that small.
Her dad is lifting her up so a blanket can go under her. She is in intensive care but he and Louise can hold her at times. She does need to sleep so she can grow.
My husband is playing with her hand. The Lord is so good to us. He has blessed her parents and us. She has also already given much joy to many of her friends who care for her.
For You formed my inward parts;
You covered me in my mother’s womb.
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well.
You covered me in my mother’s womb.
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well.
Psalm 139:13-14
Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate

Congratulations on being a new Grandma. Positive thoughts that she will soon grow enough to come home.
