Dear Jane Continuued

These are the last 4 blocks of the rows A,B, and C.  So now I have one long section completed.

These are very fun to do.  Since they are small, they don't take too much time.  Most of them are paper pieced, which is not my forte but I like it for the small pieces that are involved.

Yes, some are a little wonky but I don't mind.  This quilt is not meant for a show.

Filet Crochet Doily

This doily was made from a pin I found on pinterest.  It had instructions in Spanish? and a chart.  I followed the chart.  It did call for a different stitch for the flower which I never did figure out.
I look on the internet for other filet crochet stitches and this stitch doesn't seem to be used in English speaking countries.  Oh well...
It is a lovely doily though.

I used a cotton crochet thread that I had hanging around and it seems I had just enough.  Whew!!!

Clara's Sweater

This is a sweater I knitted for Clara.  I took a pic of one I liked for an American girl doll and transformed it into a sweater for a little girl.

I measured her chest but I never thought of a tummy that might stand out.  Next time when the girl isn's super skinny, measure the waist also.  Hmmmm....

I like the details the sweater had with the two color work and the moss stitch instead of ribbing.

You can find more details on this sweater on my Ravelry site.

Dragonflies and Daisies

This is a quilt that I copied from an old magazine that I wanted to throw away.  I kept this page from it and now have made it.  This is a using up fabric project.  No purchasing on it.
I started with strips.

I fused the daisies and dragonflies with a simple straight stitch around the edges.

I embroidered the antennae on the dragonflies.

The top is now all put together.
