Don't we like owls!! Except I don't think I really want to come upon real ones to closely anyways. Have you read the book The Silver Chair by CS Lewis? Now those owls have personality.
This is a quilt I made for a friend that had a baby this spring. She likes owls and Ronen is probably learning to like owls.
I got my ideas from several sources and took bits and pieces from them. Even button trees.
I fused the whole quilt and stitched only around the tree before the quilting. I figured the quilting would do the rest, so why do double duty?
I didn't have to buy any fabric except for the flannel on theback. I like things that use what I have, even though by looking at my stash you wouldn't be able to tell I had taken anything from it.
This size of this quilt is 36" x 48". Categories are Baby Quilt, Applique, and Scrap Quilts.
Enjoy the rest of the quilts in this great quilt show.
