Progress Report

The last time I posted on this quilt was in May.  I started it in January.  Now it is finally ready for the last border.  But here it is until then.

As I did all the figuring out (no Pattern), this quilt does have some issues, but I am working them in.  My light gold and green squares are not square.  This will affect the flying geese that I add in the last border.

But I do like the way it all looks anyways.

I really like the applique.

Little Boy and Baby Sweaters

In the last post my grandsons were trying on sweaters that I knitted for them.  In this post they are trying on sweaters that I knitted for other babies that were recently born.  They will grow into these sweaters.
This first pattern is a sirdar pattern that I've had for a while.  I just used a different color on the collar and added pockets.

I used a knitpicks  cotton shine which is very soft for this one.

This is a pattern that I purchased.  It is a nicely designed hoodie.

I used a knitpicks superwash wool on this.  I like wool, but superwash is the only way to go with children's items.

I like the way the sleeves look with this added garter stitch.

Asher and Gideon Photo Shoot

One of my daughter-in-laws did this photo shoot with my grandsons wearing overalls that I knitted for them.  They were so great.  I knitted these without a pattern making one on paper that I fitted my knitting to.  If you know  your  gauge then it's pretty easy to do .

I used a knitpicks shine sport for my yarn.  It is a yarn that I love the feel to and is easy care for those mothers that don't want to think about handwashing their children's clothes.

Asher isn't sure that he likes Gideon getting on top of him.  He does get out from under him though.

Meet Me at the Manor Continued

This is a progress report. I have all the housed sewn together.  It was pretty easy.  I'm in the middle of appliqueing the doors on.  This pic is how I'm seeing them laid out.

And then I did the four baskets.  I really like how they look. They came together so nicely.

Here I am with granddaughter Melanie.
Enjoy.

Kathy's Quilt

This is a nice simple quilt.  It was easy to do a pattern within the pattern of the quilt.
