Cutting Up Clothes Again

This time it's a jeans quilt with one bright red shirt in it. I've done several quilts,(jeans quilt,
T-shirt quilt, and Shirt quilt) already for Bonnie and she came back to me with a box of jeans for another quilt. I recently pinned this quilt which is my inspiration for the one I'm doing now.

You can see I'm using pockets in it.

I'll be sewing it up soon, so you'll have to come back and take a peak.

  1. Looks like a fun project! :) I've never made a quilt or anything out of old clothes. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out!

  2. Fun stuff! I've just started cutting up clothes ... who knew how much fun stash you could get from old clothing?!? (Not to mention the buttons I reap from it!) :)

  4. Love visiting your blog Elaine there is always some thing different going on here. Do you mind telling who the quilts are for and where they will end up, so much work you put in to recycling clothes?????? IS Bonnie a family friend or some one who distributed these quilts for the people in crises???? You make so many of them????? This one is going to be so perfect for a man or boy or a Tom-boy.
