Baby Clothing Quilt - A Finish

Here it is all done.

You can see its progress here and here

.
It was a lot of little cutting and then backing all the pieces with interfacing. It did turn out pretty cute.  I just quilted the sashing and borders, so the squares pop out.

She wanted her daughters' names embroidered on it.  Here's one of them.

  3. Oh, that turned out so very sweet! I love the effect - definitely worth all the work with having to back everything.

  6. I am the Mommy who ordered this. It is BEAUTIFUL. This is such a special family heirloom and the pieces bring to mind so many memories of the girls' babyhood. Thank you a million times, this is even more lovely than I'd imagined it. Quality work.

  7. This is SO beautiful! A friend asked me to make something similar and I love how you sashed these and used the columns of fabric between the "print" blocks. Love it!
