Cutting Time

I'm getting the wedding quilt going.  Wanting to post on these WIP sites helps me to get something moving.
This quilt has only 3 fabrics in it, black, white, and silver.

I did my shopping in Portland at Fabric Depot which is a 2 hour drive.  I made sure to buy enough fabric as I didn't want to run short, knowing it would not be easy to pick up more.  I have run short in the past and have had to substitute.  That was not good.  I have plenty of these left over.  They are good basics to have in my stash.

Their are very few grays and silvers at the store.  But they did have a Christmas line that had a silver that would work fine.

I'm thinking that this would make a nice quilting design in the center of the white squares.  Don't you think so?

  2. I'm SURE you know this already, but if you do happen to run out, you can call FD and they will mail you more fabric (as long as they have it in stock).

  3. Yes I think that will look really wonderful in the centre. I can't wait to see this wedding quilt as you progress through to finishing it. I like your choice of colours too. Black, white and silver - how elegant.
