I did finish the hot pads I was working on. Some of them are making fine birthday gifts.
I also made this strawberry from a tutorial that you can get here. Paulette makes some wonderful things with felt. It's a medium I never really thought of using, but her items intrigued me - so here is the first - a strawberry. I'm going to make more of these. Maybe I'll put them on my mantel for spring decor?
I also started Esther's BOM - Heart's Desire. I had some fabric in my stash -reds- that I had bought for a wedding quilt, and then ended up doing something else. I decided this would be a good time to use them, with additives. I'm going to try to keep up with her. I've collected some of her other patterns, but haven't done them yet. I think the mysteriousness of this one will keep me going on it. What's next?
You are invited to enter my give away. I'll be picking a winner late tomorrow. I'm sure there's someone looking for a new pattern to quilt up.
nice little projects
ReplyDeleteI really like the hot pads! I might have to get some from you later this summer. My mom has always liked Mary Engelbreight and the blue ones would look nice in her kitchen.
ReplyDeleteThank you for looking at my blog, the children realy do enjoy making the sock creatures. Google sock monkeys for the pattern and lots of inspirational pictures.
ReplyDeleteI love those hot pads! Way too cute. I must have some. Does this sound greedy? Those strawberries are cute too.
