A Couple New Starts

I have all my projects to the point of being quilted or finished, so it was time to start something new.  These are still smaller projects.  I don't feel quite ready to start something large again for a while.
I liked the Dresden flowers so much, that now I'm incorporating some into a table runner. I'm doing 3 flowers, the red, turquoise, and yellow.  I was sewing each quarter on the background.  I'm not sure that that's the right way to go.  I maybe should have made the whole flower first and then appliqued it on.  I'll see how the first one comes out.  Maybe some ripping out, but definately some nice outdoor hand sewing.

This is a Lily pincushion.  There is a great tutorial for these clothespin dolls here.  This will be a fun mini project.

Another vacation shot.  Grandpa enjoying Juliet.

Also here's my golfers.  They did a lot of it on this little trip.

This is linked to Esther's WOW and Freshly Pieced.
