Fall is the Time for Sweaters

It's great to get some sweaters knitted for the colder weather.  We had a photo shoot with this one that I just finished.

Eric was enjoying himself immensely.

This was an easy sweater to knit and I liked the fact that the pattern changed to make the checkerboard look.

And the leaves are fun to play with also.

I knitted this with an acrylic yarn, using some of my leftover stash, but it would look great in a cotton also.
You can check out the details on Ravelry.

This next sweater I knitted back in the early spring.  I just didn't have anyone model it for me til now.  I guess when Eric showed up, Evelyn wanted to get in the show also.

It's a very soft alpaca yarn.

I know the sweater looks the same in each of these pictures.  But Evelyn does make great faces and so she makes the sweater. (Grandmas, remember this).

The details of this one can also be seen on Ravelry.
