Sailor Sweater and beret
I knitted this sweater over the past couple of days. It went really fast. The pattern said it was for a 6-12 month baby, but it really fits an 18 month sized baby. The hat is also a little big, plus I added more stripes to it. I made the sleeves long sleeved instead of short as the pattern had it. It took me a couple of times doing it to get the length the right size for the sweater. But now I like it. I'm going to do a girl rendition of it.

Absolutely adorable! You did an excellent job...I can't picture it with the short sleeves, or even with one less stripe. Perfect, what you've done with this. I wished I had a cute set like this for my son when he was a baby! Can't wait to see the girl's version.
