Designing Daze

I'm in the design process of a new quilt.  The design is the most important aspect of this quilt and so is the most challenging.
The fabrics are easy.  They are a white muslin and a bright yellow.

This is a small rough draft.  It will be a wholecloth shadow trapunto quilt.  I'm making it for some friends that got married last summer.  It takes me a while to get going.

Here's a life size drawing of some of the aspects of the quilt.  It is still rough though.

Yesterday, my children got me a prize.  Now I am truly a fan (I always have been) and showing it not just by shouting but by my clothing.
2 of my daughters and a granddaughter are in this picture with me.  We were ready for the big win.  I'm glad it wasn't one of those tense games that make you nervous and sit on the edge of your seat.  It was very fun.
Go Hawks!!!
