Today is WIP day and I think that marriages are always a work in progress, so this post is about a new marriage that is now a WIP.
Saturday, my son Joseph married a wonderful girl, Sarah.
Joseph served 7 years for Sarah, and it was but a day for the love he had for her.
This is a 7 year story.
In the Bible, the book of Nehemiah, the Israelites were rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem. Each family had a place on the wall. They had a sword in one hand to fight off the enemy and a tool in the other hand for building. That is our lives with the families in the church we are building in.
The groomsmen with a sword and a tool in each hand. Tools for everyday building. One man even had a diaper bag.
The flower girls. My granddaughter Eloise and her cousin Elizabeth. Eloise is Joseph's niece and Lizzie is Sarah's niece. But the girls are also cousins. Get that one?
Happily married!
The cutting of the cake
The Beatles even showed up.
Joe and Sarah dance. Her middle name is Michelle and the song was Michelle.
Wow! what a production. It looks like lots of fun for all. Lovely bride and groom.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bride and groom...may God richly bless their union and life together with much love, laughter and children...
ReplyDeleteI like those security guards. It looks like they kept the Beatle's fans from getting out of hand!
ReplyDeleteOne of the most fun weddings ever, Glory to God
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the beautiful couple and family.
