The top is all put together. It is a planned patchwork. That is the squares are not random. But it is supposed to look random. I sewed strips together and then decided I didn't like the placement, so I ripped. Strip piecing turned into individual piecing pretty much. I am happy with the result.
Those arrows look exactly like the minky coming your way!
