My new Hawaiian appliqué - Naupaka

When in Hawaii, do as the Hawaiians do. Hawaiian appliqué.  That is what I'm doing. It's a flower called Naupaka. 

I think that the Hawaiians do this one piece type of appliqué because it's windy so much and this kind will not blow away.

 You are just getting a taste of what it will look like. 

I'm also enjoying my grandchildren at the pool

Also the good company of friends with chocolate, wine and the preached Word of God. What could be better?
