Juliet's New Birthday Playmat

One thing about being a grandma, I have more time to make things for the grandchildren than I did as a mom.  Then I was really busy. Of course, right now I only have 3.  I don't know what will happen when they all start popping along.  That might be too much.  But these three are getting quite a bit from me.
Juliet turned 2 a couple of days ago and here's what I made her.
She got a little help from her mom opening it.

It's this little playmat that I've been working on.  Peter Rabbit seems to be checking out the flower garden.

I put a swing in it that the doll can swing on.

Both girls are checking it out.

 And lets swing her.

Eloise brought hers over the other day.  She's hanging clothes on the clothes line.

You can see more pics of it here.
I was going to sell it, but decided to give it to Eloise quite a while back.

 What fun!!!

  1. so cute, I'm sure they will always remember the wonderful things you create for them

  2. That is adorable, Elaine! My granddaughter also just turned two - it's a cute age, isn't it?

    Whoop whoop!

  3. And the girls look as darling as ever too!

  4. What a wonderful idea, Elaine. Those little ones will treasure their interactive little quilts. Isn't it fun being a grandma! Thanks for sharing this with us at TGIFF.

  5. Wow, I love this idea. A great quilt for kids :-)

I love hearing from you. Please feel free to leave a comment.
