Hawaiian Flowers

This is a small Hawaiian quilt that I started earlier this summer.  It is one of those that I took with me on small trips.   It is an easy applique.  I also  take it outside here at home when the weather is wonderful for sitting outside visiting with friends and watching the children play.
It came from an idea I found on pinterest. It's so easy to copy things that way.  I am still working on applique borders to go around the whole thing.  It will be wall hanging size when completed.

  4. Those are beautiful blocks - they look like they are dyed that way instead of appliqued. I'm looking forward to seeing the borders you make. The kids look like they are having fun. I've found that a little bit of sunshine and water makes the perfect play area, for both adults and children! LOL
