A Family of Ducks

My son was looking at the baby quilts that I pinned on Pinterest and sent me the one that he liked.  So I'm making it now with some changes.  It was this pin.  And the tutorial is here.  I couldn't find the link to buy the pattern, but I figured it was an easy one to draw on my own.
I cut all the pieces after drawing the ducks on paper.  They are 3 dimensional, so every piece is double-sided with batting in between.

Now they are sewn to the water.  It is Daddy, Mama, Eloise, Juliet and baby Clara.

There are the babies all lined up in a row with the borders on.

 Now it's time to quilt.

We had a painting party Saturday for my playhouse.  It looks so nice painted.

  1. Very cute ducks. I had many happy hours in a play house when I was a child. A woman who baby sat me had one in her back yard for her now older daughter. I suppose I might have liked it more because I didn't have it all the time; but it sure did make me like to go to the babysitter's.
