The Red and White Squares Get Put Together.

Here they are on my moveable design wall.  I can take the wall down and fold it up or keep it up for a while. It beats the floor by a long shot, even though it's not perfect.
The squares are put together and this is the rough, rough draft for the applique.
My inspiration is this pin.  The original source doesn't give the name of the quilter or quilt but she does look very pleased and I know it has gotten pinned quite a bit.

This is the rough draft.  You can see my paper has more definition to it.

This is a shot with ideas for fabrics. It is also very rough and will be changed some.

  1. Beautiful blocks and after looking at your inspiration piece I think I will love it. At first, I thought it was something you would only see at the Tate Modern Museum with all those white hanging pieces on it!
