Sweaters for Granddaughters
Today I'm posting a couple of sweaters that I knitted last summer for 2 of my granddaughters.
Clara is wearing one that I made from a picture of one knitted for a doll. Some of those that I have seen are so cute that I just had to try them. This is the second one that I've done of that kind.
I used a basic sweater pattern that I have and added the design to it.
You can find out more about it on my Ravelry page.
You get a lot of photos of this cutie. This is a pattern I really like and I've knitted it a few times now for gifts.
I bought this soft yarn at Hobby Lobby. It is a bulky and a very easy sweater to knit up.
I knitted the smallest size, but as you can see it ran rather large.
I got these pictures one day when she was helping her mom at work.

Bibs
For newborn babies in my community, I knit newborn hats, sew burp cloths and bibs. These are a sample of some of the bibs that I've made recently. You can find several free patterns online that are very simple to make.
I use velcro for the fastenings.
A couple of grandchildren are posing with the bibs.
This is a good way to use up some of my stash.

Some Special Hats
June's mom asked me to knit this hat for her. Such a cute pixie one.
Other granddaughters saw the hat and they wanted one also. Then I really started knitting. I let each one pick out their color.
That same day I was going to Hobby Lobby and the girls went with me. These girls picked out yarn with all those lovely colors.
Last but not least, Eloise decided she wanted a hat also. Here is hers.

Manor Quilt Progress
I've been slowly moving along on my Manor quilt. Sometimes that's the way things work. Moving along means getting done, even if it's slow.
Since there are so many kinds of blocks, doing one set at a time makes it easier.

I've actually finished all the blocks for the center even though I don't have pics of all of them. Maybe this week I can get the center put together.
