Newest Aprons
I am trying to use up all my fabric and not buy anymore. These aprons are one way I’ve been using them. I do have some fun fabrics to play with.

John and Havilah's Wedding Quilt
This is a quilt I made for some friends getting married. I love doing these wholecloth quilts. It's so much fun to design and then quilt.
It has quite a bit of trapunto work in it. It's great for those sitting around cutting times. It takes small, very sharp scissors.

Gardening Aprons
I found this fabric on my quilt guild's give away table and made these aprons for my gardening granddaughters.
Aren't they pretty nice girls?

Finally a New Quilt
This is a quilt that I finished last September. I was copying a Kim Diehl quilt to some degree. I like her quilts. They look comforting and homey.

Sunflowers
I bought a book many years ago called Flower Show Quilts. Finally I did a quilt from it. I love sunflowers and this tablerunner looked like something I'd enjoy.
I did the patchwork first and then quilted it. After that I did the fusable applique doing the quilting on those pieces afterwards.
I used all scraps which didn't really make a dent in anything. Do quilters ever use all their fabrics up?
Now I've started the second item from that book. I think I will do several of these.

Baby Knits
These are a couple of things that I knitted recently for some new babies. This one is one that is knitted sideways. I've done another one before and I like the look with the lace design.
This sweater I've also done in the past. But this time I put white on dark.
And I knitted a hat to go with it.

Swallowtail Lace Shawl
I love knitting lace. And I love knitting shawls. I just don't wear them. What's great is that I've sold a few of them in the past. So I keep knitting them. I don't know how many women really knit shawls. But I'll have a few if someone wants one.
This is a pattern called Swallowtail Lace Shawl. I used a knitpicks yarn called Diadem fingering. It is very soft to the touch.
I like that the pattern doesn't have any solid stockinette. You have to think the whole time your're knitting.
I did put it away for a while as I was busy knitting for the grandchildren, but it was satisfying to finish it.

Cross Stitch
Cross Stitch is something I took up 10-15 years ago for a while but then I put it away to knit. You can't have too much going on or you get stretched thin. Especially as I was in the midst of raising my children also. But I started to take it up again.
This is a pattern that I've done before and I had a granddaughter that liked it so I did it for her.
One thing I also do is take photos and put them into the program PCStitch. I love doing ones that have special meaning. This is my oldest granddaughter. This was taken at a pumpkin farm in the fall.
