Little Baby Boy Layette

I keep knitting.  I can't seem to stop.  There are so many nice things that I want to make.  T
This is a little sweater, hat and booties for an upcoming baby grandson.  I knitted it in a 6-12 month size to fit a baby in the fall and winter.

The jacket has a lovely cable pattern on it.

It was also used on the hat

and the booties.

I used Drops Baby Merino which is a yarn I am really getting to like.  The feel of it is so nice.

Juliet's Umbrella Quilt

This was a very easy and fun quilt to make.  Juliet likes umbrellas and so she got an umbrella quilt for her baby doll.

It's all fused together and then stitched over.  I quilted it with loopy loops.

Folks seem to notice that it's a quilt of J's for Juliet.  She is now 4 years old.

T-Shirt Quilt - A Finish

It took me 2 months of consistent part time work to get this quilt finished for my customer.
And I got one quick picture of it as the phone rang for one of the girls holding up the quilt.
Sometimes things have to happen quick.

As we looked through my pin board on these type of quilts, my customer chose the shadow effect.
I think it worked out nicely .  She thought so also as she gave me a real nice tip for doing this for her.  It is a present for her daughter.

Umbrella Baby Doll Quilt

I have a granddaughter that will be having a birthday soon.  One thing I thought I would do for her is make her a baby doll blanket.  This was a very fast put together.  It is all fused and stitched around the edges.

Little girls always like umbrellas or parasols when it's not raining.
Now it's ready for the quilting.

Surfing Bunny

This is a strip that I just finished from the Row By Row Experience from last summer.  This strip is from the Bunny Hop Quilt Shop in Eureka, Ca   I used my own fabrics on this one.

It's all raw edge applique, simply stitched around everything.
Some loose threads even show up.

I believe this is the Table Bluff Lighthouse in Eureka.

The bunny from the quilt shop.

The Redwood trees that are so common in this area.

I don't know what I'm going to do with these strips as I complete them, but it will be fun to see.

Jamie's Quilt

Hers is a very simple one.

I thought curves would be nice since she wanted an overall.

Patchwork Baby Quilt

This is the newest quilt I am making for a friend.  It came together so quickly I almost forgot to take pictures of it.  I have never made a simple patchwork before, but they sure are nice.

I cut my fabric in strips and sewed the strips together.

I did cut one strip 1/2" too short and had to do that one again. So even in simple quilts there can be mistakes.

So the quilt is off to the embroiderer's and then to my quilt frame.

My New Pets

These are pets that I am giving away or have already given away.  And the children are making personal requests for what they want.  They are excited about them.
These will all have my Ravelry link which will then lead you to the pattern.  Most, if not all, are free.
This is my peacock

I don't know what these are called, but they are cute.

 Doesn't he have nice feathers?

Here is my monkey

He took a little work to get his face just right.

And he has a nice tail.

This is an octopus.  He is a combination of a couple of patterns.

Mr. Fox plays the flute.  The little girl who wanted the fox also plays the flute.

These instructions were in Russian, but since I've made so many crocheted animals I was able to figure it out.  Google translate also helped.

This little mouse is one my granddaughter picked out on my pinterest board.

 She calls her Kitty Mouse.
