Here is the finish of my Magic Vine Quilt. My granddaughters are doing a good job of holding this up for pictures.
I really enjoyed this as I love doing applique. It will be one that I hang on my wall in the fall.
I tried to copy the leaves in the border quilting.
This wall hanging is from some pictures I found in an old magazine.
I've just got to show those granddaughters again.
What a gorgeous quilt, just love those colours. And two little gorgeous helpers too, who seem to be having a great time helping with the photo shoot.
ReplyDeleteIt's a wonderful quilt perfect for hanging in the fall and such sweet helpers.
ReplyDeleteThis will be lovely to reflect the fall colours from outside to inside. And I love your helpers--"who cares about the quilt, grandma, take a picture of me!" Thanks for linking up to TGIFF!
ReplyDeleteI can't get enough the expressions on the girls' faces. Such fun! I love my grands, too. Your quilt is amazing: great applique and quilting to compliment it. Super colors and love the positive/negative contrast.
ReplyDeleteWow. Love the colors and the work you did. That is a really pretty quilt.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful quilt! Your applique and free-motion quilting is perfect!

ReplyDeleteLovely quilt and quilting! And the girls are fabulous! I have one granddaughter who loves to help and is learning...when I can snag her from her go-go-go summer fun!! LOL Summer just arrived and I'm ready for fall!
