My finished version of Dear Jane. This one was 3 years in the making.
I love applique borders and so that is the way I went with this one. The little squares were enough without thinking of triangles.
I quilted only on the white to make the colors pop.
Many congratulations, your Dear Jane quilt looks fabulous!!!
ReplyDeleteI think I have done every DJ block at least twice, but never made a 'full' DJ quilt - think it was the triangle finish. I love your version with the applique border - softens it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful finish. A Dear Jane took the top prize at our county fair and then the state fair. I do hope you plan to enter yours in a competition.
ReplyDeleteSpectacular! Love everything about it. Love the way you quilted as well as the colors you’ve used. Three years of love and perseverance. Thank you for linking to TGIFF.
