Applique is one of those things you can work on later in the afternoon when you're back is hurting from the day's activities. It's nice to sit for a few minutes and hand sew. Here's my progress. You can see I have the middle squares all finished and put together.
Now I am working on the border. I am enjoying this more and more. I love the old fashion squares with applique borders. And the fact that it's small keeps it from being overwhelming. I could make quite a few of them.
