Recent Knitting

Charlotte's posing in the sweater that I knitted in Maui.  I finished it the day before we came home.  Then I just had to block it and put buttons on it. It is one that I shipped to a customer.

I tried it on her because I wanted to see the fit of it.  It seemed big and heavy to me.  It looked better than I thought it would.  It gave me some ease of mind in shipping it out.

Before we left for Maui, I knitted this sweater for a gift for a new baby.  It was blocking while we were gone, and now I have the buttons on it.  You'll have to wait for the baby to grow into it to see pics of him in this sweater.

This is from a book Chic Knits for Stylish Babies.   I've done it before and really liked it, so I thought it would make a nice gift.  It's knitted in a washable wool and has a nice hood.

  2. Then pink sweater is so cute on her and sits well, and I love how she is holding the matching pink hand bag in the second photo.

  6. Knitting in Maui! Is that a bit like sipping pina coladas in the Aluetians? Love the boy's cardi!

  8. I have the book "chic Knits for Stylish Toddlers" and I've never made anything from it. Time my grandsons got some of Grandmum's hand knits, I think! Especially since we are having an unusually cold winter.
